I have been working at Fuhu full-time

    Pros

Some reviews on here by short timers or contractors who are bitter, are just because they don't have any perspective on how business actually works and they live in a bubble. The management here are the hardest working, most passionate and genuinely good people I have ever met. The CEO is the friendliest and most approachable guy I've seen where he'll stop and say hello and ask you how your day is when I bet he has a million things on his mind. THe culture values competency and dedication, not just hours put in.

    Cons

The company's innovation and speed to market has always been its greatest core competency, but the obstacles have been operations in terms of inventory management.

I worked at Fuhu full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Free snacks, food and drinks

    Cons

This company was at first a wonderful place to work. I absolutely loved my direct bosses and coworkers. I quickly was promoted from CS Agent to Senior Team Lead with three other TLs under me. We had the center running like a well oiled machine. After about six months they brought back the manager that had first ran the call center to the ground. It was a joke the way he treated people and thought things should run. The president was an arrogant/Dictator, Robb Fuji, also. He had his entourage of yes men following him around constantly. He changed everything for the worst. One thing I remember was that you could never leave when your shift was done even if your work was done. I would be expected to open at 6am and then stay till 10 or 11 for a meeting. The idea was to humiliate others and scare people for their jobs if you had anything to say back. The old manager was verbally abusive and just has the worst attitude. The presidents idea of how a call center should run is chaos and people running around like chickens with their heads cut off. Oh I could go on but no need they went bankrupt and closed down all offices. It's sad for those that lost their job to this dictator and his minions. Thankfully I had found myself a new and NORMAL place to work before that happened. If you see this president or CEO running another company. RUN... RUN FAR FAR AWAY... Check out their article on Inc. 500 it says it perfectly

I worked at Fuhu full-time for less than a year

    Pros

HR (Laura Pallas) was absolutely fantastic and extremely accommodating. The employees were super talented and hardworking. I made a lot of friends working here.

    Cons

$2.00 raise from $13-$15 in 8 months. The company tried very hard to tell us that we are not a call center, and overcompensated by ridiculous group exercises, hands-on meetings where everyone is forced to clap, yell, and smile all the time. Overbearing fake enthusiasm filled the cubicle air because our job title, after all, was called being a "happiness ambassador"

I worked at Fuhu full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Awesome food, coworkers, and an onsite gym

    Cons

No time to use the onsite gym as call center employee except for lunch as it closed early/opened late. A lot of politics. Didn't seem like higher ups cared.

    - free catered lunch 2x per week (this has changed i hear) - smart, competent coworkers - great managers - on-site gym with personal trainers

    Cons

    - dictatorship - upper management like to micromanage (even in departments they had no experience with) - unflexible hours - "unlimited" vacation but with almost no opportunity to actually exercise them
