    I worked at Fujikura full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Low stress. Great co-workers. 37.5 hour work week.

    Cons

    Lower than average pay. US business decisions heavily controlled by Fujikura Japan. No chance for career advancement.

    Pros

    They have a great history in Japan over 100 years and made innovations in electornic component and optic fiber business.
    Good communication and skill/career plan education. I did not know how to produce the electronic components but I could understand it soon. I could went to Thailand factory tour and leaned the cost and the process of those production lines.
    They have started to launch China office since 1990s. So they knew how to make the good relation customers in China,

    Cons

    Japanese were very poor English level and just tried to discount products prices.
    Locally employed people gave some good idea but team would not like to take it for sales promotions.

    Advice to Management

    Hire me again

    friendly staff, good technology, modern offices, flexi time, autonomy.

    Cons

    old chairs, no bike shed, no smoking shed, old maps. thats it.

    - warm and hardworking people

    Cons

    - salaries are under market average
    - people are shifted based on company's needs
    - the management is not flexible

    Be more open-minded and build and employer brand. Try to take also into consideration ypu employees' needs.

    Japanese are friendly and polite, good working environment, making enironment friendly product

    too much bureaucracy, many meetings, very long meetings, average pay, long working hours
