    Pros

Great place to work with a real sense of community. Nice people and great benefits coupled with the required work-life balance.

    Cons

Workforce is older than my perception of average, but FNC has actively sought young talent to ensure the companies longevity.

    Advice to Management

Strong morale and the welcoming culture that has been developed in the past will be key to success in 2017 and beyond.

    Pros

The people at Fujitsu are what makes it a good place to work. It is a supportive environment to work in.

    Cons

The is a culture clash between the U.S. market and development in Japan.
Fujitsu needs to deliver on innovation to remain relevant, which has been a struggle.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be a better focus on delivering on innovation and a consistent message across business units regarding vision.

For some products fro Fujitsu Japan changes are very hard if not impossible , even when needed. Manufacturing seemed disconnected from the other company functions

I worked at Fujitsu Network Communications full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits and good salaries and overall good people to work with.
The company was once one of the best companies to work for.

    Cons

Bad upper management business decisions is taking a toll in the company's reputation and prestige. For the last five years there has been an average of one RIF per year coupled with the fact that the people that got the boot were not all based on bad performance and because of that they have lost good talented employees. I'm afraid outsourcing more than 50% of the R&D is not going to cut it.

    Advice to Management

Really hope they get a clue that is not the products that made the company great it was the people behind the product and the culture. Stop spending huge amount of money trying to figure out how to boost up moral when the answer is right in front of your nose... build a culture that we once had and lead with a good heart and good vision.

Former Employee - Systems Test Engineer in Mamaroneck, NY

I worked at Fujitsu Network Communications full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The work was very challenging. There were many opportunities to participate in a wide variety of disciplines, including both hardware and testing.

    Cons

At some level, a decision was made to reduce the size of the FNC in the US. The facility in Pearl River, NY was closed.

    Advice to Management

I hope that upper management will recognize the variety and depth of talent which was sacrificed when the Pearl River facility was closed.
