I have been working at Fujitsu full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Relaxed environment. Decent pay. Initial learning period. Personal connection to customers.

    Cons

Terrible incompetent Portuguese management only slowing down progress. Lying, manipulating and selfish thinking are the main tools used. Nearly a total lack of eye for simple progress and development. Never experienced anything like it, especially in a huge international IT company. Meetings after meetings, but no action.

    Advice to Management

Listen more, and take action. Talk less. Much less. Make a goal to help the project and people involved. Make things easier and more efficient rather than make yourself look important. Unless you can contribute to the project, you are not needed. Make yourself useful and people will respect you.

I worked at Fujitsu full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Co-workers and the ability to work from home

    Cons

HR does not protect you from young and valid professionals that become people managers to soon. As a former senior hired marketeer, I left from a well stand position to work for Fujitsu in something that I had years of experience and also outstanding recognition for my developed work. Within the 6 months, I was plain and simple fired. For people that have a good position, I suggest you to consider before you...

    Advice to Management

Bad management . Nobody knows where is the direction. There is not a defined strategy. To many people work on the same projects, so that work is easily duplicated. Emeia High management does not know what is being developed within countries. It’s really unbelievable, but this was my recent experience within Fujitsu.

I worked at Fujitsu full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very few decent, talented and enjoyable colleagues. A pleasure to work with them. No other pros.

    Cons

Working with outdated systems and tools in an IT/Tech company.... And on top of that, lackluster training and information provided by supervisors. When things go wrong and stressful situations appear, employees who have no ressources or permission to solve issues are often blamed (lack of manager leadership? I sure think so). Many obstacles from the very start to perform your responsibilities correctly. Tasks are...

    Advice to Management

Recruit people according to the job's requirements. Do not recruit qualified and/or talented people to do tedious irrelevant tasks. Explain new recruits the full scope of their banal job so they understand from the start what to expect. Get managers who understand the concept of managing a team.
