I have been working at Fujitsu full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good colleagues and an improved message and strategy for the Americas.

    Cons

The current management of the Americas came in 18 months ago with a strong message and strategy but the reality is not much has changed in the US: it is still a small, struggling IT player in the US.

    Advice to Management

It feels like the company is still trying to 'break into' the US market. The current strategy makes sense but perhaps the best way to accelerate it is to acquire.

I worked at Fujitsu full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Kind and supportive colleagues across the company. Collaboration is valued and people are happy to help.
    - Lots of experience and expertise in the company.
    - Good entry level salary at graduate level.
    - In a lot of roles, there is the opportunity to work remotely.
    - Very supportive of people with families, good maternity/paternity leave though no personal experience of this.
    - Really liked the focus on CSR and supporting charity partners - the company is genuinely committed to this.

    Cons

    - Processes can be extremely slow, frustrating for us and client.
    - Old boys club mentality is prevalent and off putting.
    - Being told to do things "because we have to" even if it doesn't deliver value to us or the client, too much red tape.
    - Graduate programme experience varies massively depending on where you are placed - it is disingenuous for the company to imply it is a level playing field.
    - Can feel like a dinosaur - seems to be behind on major tech developments.
