I worked at Fujitsu full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Community is close-knit. Management seeks out suggestions/recommendations. Compensation is average to above average. Many employees work remotely.

    Cons

Though it's a technology company, they're a bit behind the power curve since for four of the last six years, they've operated in the RED and the Japan-based parent company doesn't seem willing to cut them much slack.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the latest technologies, not only to advance your current customers, but to attract new ones and avoid losing the ones you have.

I have been working at Fujitsu full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    I can think of none.

    Cons

Fujitsu North American and specifically the BAS unit is a leader free business unit that is ruled by 1990's management and solutions. The company espouses their great insight into digital transformation solutions for the marketplace yet they stifle innovation and modernization throughout the internal workforce. A good old boys club of inept sr. management that rewards the wrong behaviors and people for being mediocre and for following orders. Great place to work if you seek domineering leaders, limited advancement and growth opportunities and an atmosphere of servitude amongst the rank and file. Leaders need not apply nor seek hire as the first new thought or great idea will forever brand as nonconformist with an exit strategy in the future. A terrible place to work, especially with the current digital age transformations generating so much excitement. Don't join fujitsu if you want progress but if you like stagnation, sign up now, they need more "yes" people to blindly follow orders.

    Advice to Management

Retire now. You are setting back all of IT by decades by your continued work. And please, don't take your sorry approach to other companies and infect them with the same diseases you've proliferated at Fujitsu.

I worked at Fujitsu full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very political and unprofessional environment. Managment just care about billing and money . They don't value people skills and talent . Overall thinking is , they are just looking for cheap resources not quality skills.Lots of false promises to retain resource which can work for short term only. No work life balence , no pay for overtime

    Cons

Be aware, very heavy company politics

    Advice to Management

It is very difficult to find poeple with good skills , once you find them try to retain them.False promise is not going to keep anyone for long term.

    Pros

In terms of benefit, the number of Holidays are very good. We got Christmas holiday and thanksgiving holiday shut down for a whole week.

    Cons

The company is so big and there are a lot of people don't know what they are doing. More internal promotion, instead of hiring outside Canadiate.

    Advice to Management

Huge company, a lot of transfer from Japan. Should value more about domestic employee. More internal promotion.
