      Pros

Love this company. So transparent and always willing to take employee feedback and make changes. The sale can be hard some months, but a lot of the time the products sell themselves. Awesome culture in the office.

      Cons

I wish management was hired mostly from within so they knew the role a bit better.

        Pros

-Approachable management at every level -Great location, office, and amenities -Very good commuter, health, and other benefits package -Leadership truly does do their best to create a cohesive vision and communicate via weekly/monthly syncs -It's all about dials, if you put in the work, you will see the results and be rewarded

        Cons

-Industry susceptible to economic factors -Not much room for advancement if you don't want to become a manager (not really a bad thing, just a note) -Company is all about the revenue goal and everything is held to your KPI's (same at any sales job)

          Pros

Great coworkers and friendly management Decent pay for entry level Fun environment and good snacks in office

          Cons

Training is bad, more of a trial by error approach They don't hire managers from within most of the time so you lean on tenured reps the majority of your time. 95% of the good managers were former fundera AE's ^new managers are often unhelpful because they don't know the product. occasionally have good sales tips Role is subject to state of the economy. Hard to sell money when dealing with 50% rates Quick turnover. Team maxed out at 60 ppl and lost upwards of 30-40 people in my 1-2 years Best leads go to new reps who get lower/capped commission so they dont have to pay out as much

            Cons

Kind of gaslit being offer unlimited paid time off, but it’s sales so taking any time off can really just ruin you

                Pros

-Benefits (Unlimited PTO, Remote flexibility, Amazing insurance, stock options) -Renovated office -Clearly defined promotion structure (merit based) -Clear company culture and vision -Overall everyone works together and is supportive and fun

                Cons

-Limited advancement opportunities outside of role (simply limited management roles to fill) -With current economic climate, tough to hit quotas (also not really a company specific issue) -Work/life balance can be poor if you’re not hitting a string of success or luck. Have to really hammer in calls and stay late to be a top performer. But overall it’s ok

                  Pros

Free snacks at the office and a good health insurance plan and a nice laptop.

                  Cons

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING APPLYING - 8 people between both offices hit quota out of like 70 Account Executives - Only team captains hit quota since they are fed better leads -They give you a bonus for your 12-month anniversary and a bonus every 6 months after that- THERE IS A REASON FOR THIS PEOPLE DONT LAST - At least 4 people are fired every month and at one point 8 people got let go one month. The average tenure is about 6 months - You are selling a 50% loan to a small business that is struggling - Think about that - Heavily micro-managed company. Everyone who is hired is fresh-out-of-college kids who don't know better. - You will spend the day making 70-100 dials to people that just told you they weren't interested a week ago - There aren't enough leads coming in for reps to be kept busy throughout the day so the majority of your time will be spent calling the disconnected numbers to meet metrics - Leads are not distributed evenly - Every sales meeting is pointless when the message at the end of the day is DIAL MORE "work harder","be more aggressive" - Upper management has no plan to move forward and they will not take feedback because if you say anything you will be fired as they fear it will start a bad cultural environment - All of the reps are on the same page and are proactively applying elsewhere - Cheap labor - For example, while reps are ramping up they tend to perform really well sometimes exceeding quota and even the top 10% in the company beating people with more tenure. How does that happen? well, they are given better leads at the beginning because their commission is capped because of the "low quota" - once graduated and passed the ramping stage their performance just plummets without any reasoning aside from they are NOW eligible for higher commission checks so they stop giving the good quality leads. - Basically, a nicer version of a CASH 1 Loans or Loanmax Title place you will find in the hood but with a "fintech startup feel" and I'm sure they are making more money without the nicer office or Apple laptop.

                      Cons

Not a downside of the company but of the role itself. Sales is a grind and you need to be able to make 100 quality phone calls for a day and accept the fact that you will not only be successful if you want to succeed in this role

Did i just shoot my foot today?? I had an interview and the HR asked me whats my current salary and how much im expecting in the role im applying for. I told her im on above 50s right now and Im looking for mid 60s to 70s. She said perfect! Did I undersell my self? I have 17 yrs of experience in retail, commercial ant mortgage banking. I well prepared how to answer this question but didnt happened as planned. The HR talks so fast that i got caught off guard.

Interviewing at Goldman Sachs as a Workforce Specialist. Did the HR screening and then interviewed with direct manager + another specialist- behavioral questions/experience. Called me the next day to interview with Workforce Management Supervisor. I didn’t see much info but when I did Google I saw that it could either be a “fit” interview, or more technical. Any insight on what I might expect? 😭 Still in school and would die to just get in with GS to transition over later.

I have applied for a Graduate Financial Planning Analyst & and I have been invited for an assessment& interview, but when I looked back on the JD I have just noticed that they ask for a 2:1 degree , but I have a 2:2 ( due to some personal issues I had 3rd year) However in my CV the I didn’t mention my grade and during the application process I wasn’t asked. What do I do now? Just let the hiring manager know about directly or mention it during the interview first thing? Whats best solution?
