I worked at Fung Group as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

The people are very nice but some teams are better to work with than others. The office is located in a great area!

    Cons

The company needs to be more efficient with communication and technology. It's hard to understand the business as a whole because it is such a large company. Some employees are set in their ways and do not like change because they have been in the company for so long. This also affects the chances of a promotion so promotional opportunities are lacking unfortunately.

  10. "Too many generals, few soldiers"

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

Great coworkers, posh offices, great location and reasonable work hours. Introducing great training programs for employees. Good benefits.

    Cons

Flat structure. So no opportunity for growth. Poor communication between cross functional teams/ little to no communication between brands.
If your title is production or sourcing, start looking for / redefining your job as soon it will be outsourced. Top heavy. No raise and nominal or no bonus for past 4 years due to "company performance"

    Advice to Management

Talk to the "foot soldiers"/ middle managers required to execute a decision prior to making sweeping changes in processes. When executive decisions have to be rolled back, it does not reflect good on management and dampens morale.
