I have been working at Fusion Telecommunications International full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

In about five years I was promoted 3 times and compensated accordingly. Hard work and persistence does not go unnoticed.

    Cons

This company is for hard workers. If you're lazy stay away, if you're a hard worker you will fit in and grow with the company.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're doing.

I have been working at Fusion Telecommunications International full-time

    Pros

Everything is falling apart so much that you are lost in a see of disaster and no once really notices what you are doing. There is such high turnover that if you are worth something you are likely to get promoted quickly and grab a title that can give you a career boost.

    Cons

Employees have zero empowerment to influence executive decisions and executive decisions destroy your job. Vendors are not paid and they are consistently on credit hold. Employees are all utterly miserable. All the best employees are actively looking for a new job and the others could not care less if fire caught to the whole company. CEO makes a huge amount of money, even more in bonuses, but bonuses and benefits were...

    Advice to Management

Care? You are not only swimming with miserable employees but there partners are miserable, their kids are miserable. Give your employees a say in things, help then, get in the line of action making things easier. Fight for their well being. You are losing endless wonderful employees and that is very sad for you.

I worked at Fusion Telecommunications International full-time

    Pros

Free monthly lunch and some employees are nice.

    Cons

Lacks trainings, real management and workers are treated as second class citizens. Managers are very rude to employees especially behind doors.

    Advice to Management

Need to do a major Reorg of management and hire knowledgeable people that can really implement new systems that are up to date that meet 2017 requirements. Hire managers that care about employees and let them have a VOICE. Hire individuals that can make a positive impact to the company.

  6. "Finance Department Not Employee-Centric"

I worked at Fusion Telecommunications International full-time

    Pros

There was no set schedule or particular dress code, so you could come in at 10am wearing jeans or even casual lounging pants.

    Cons

Though there was no set schedule, the work hours were long, 9+ hours with 12 being the norm for most. The hours were long because there are 9 billing systems to extract data from or add data to and very few people to do it. The processes where long and inefficient.

    Advice to Management

Focus entirely on improving the systems and processes in the finance department. Your people could get more done in less time, have less stress, more rest, a higher morale, and better performance. Figure out how to make that happen rather than expecting them to work longer hours. Take proper care of your body, mind, and "spirit" so that you can see the value in others doing so - and encourage it. Your bottom line will...

I worked at Fusion Telecommunications International full-time

    Pros

There are some great people working for this company.

    Cons

They do not compensate their employees well. Benifits are garbage. Hours expected are ridiculous. Don't even bother looking here.

    Advice to Management

Reward your employees for the hard work they do. Taking them for granted is going to bite you hard one of these days.

I have been working at Fusion Telecommunications International

    Pros

Working with fellow coworkers at the office. Monthly meetings with lunch provided. They finally offered vision insurance.

    Cons

Management didn't have a grasp of the company. Some employees are allowed to work remote (that should be in the office) others are not. Most of the time the managers didn't even know their employees don't report to the office since they don't bother to check on them. They have managers and above in place that have been with the company since existence or thru acquisitions that they really need to review to determine...

    Advice to Management

Review all of your management. Just because someone was with your company when you had 20 employees doesn't mean they are competent to run a department now that the company has over 100+ employees. You will be surprised to realize

I worked at Fusion Telecommunications International for less than a year

    Pros

Some of the people. Some actually tried to help others.

    Cons

Senior Management. Lack of communication. Dysfunction amongst the many different organizations that have been bought. Low moral. No organic growth. Multiple systems and languages for products and services. Poor training. Poor communication. The "open door" policy. Which most know is a crock. Lack of accountability from Senior Management. The list goes on.

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes. Talk to your people. Do a survey to insure there wont be any type of retaliation and I promise you will get a ton of feedback about the organization. Fix the organizations branding as there are many and nobody is on the same page.
