I have been working at FusionStorm full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Fusionstorm offers a culture that promotes work and life balance with a blend of technology and entrepreneurship that is both challenging and rewarding

    Cons

Like most small companies you have to stand on your own two feet. There is no hiding within the organization.

    I worked at FusionStorm full-time

    Pros

Smart, hardworking people in virtually all roles. Strong compensation packages. Varied and interesting work in the tech infrastructure space.

    Cons

Lots of competition, so it's a battle to win customers each day. Partners are not kind to company, making things difficult when trying to work together for customers.

    Advice to Management

Get focused on key areas that can grow business, and shed the rest!

I worked at FusionStorm full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

-Great coworkers... This is especially helpful since FS is such a small company.
    -PTO is easy to accrue
-HR offers great programs (Health/Wellness challenges, Education Reimbursement, etc.) and is attentive to employee needs.

    Cons

    - Management plays favorites. There are unqualified people currently being promoted purely based on who they know rather than being based on credentials.
    - For as long as I was working I had NO pay raises/low bonuses
    -No work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

Do more for your employees that have invested years in this place. There are people that have stayed in the same position for over five years. Offer everyone a chance to grow within the company, rather than hiring externally.

    Pros

Great employees, little supervision letting you make your own way. Everyone is full throttle all the time. Great environment to learn in.

    Cons

Mediocre management, Invisible Executives. No real room for advancement without being in the "inner Circle"

    Advice to Management

Understand your market better and show the sales team real numbers for cost of services instead of hopes and dreams of what you want to achieve. Deal in reality. stop over promising and hoping to properly deliver.

    Pros

Can work from home. Engineers and project managers work the hardest.

    Cons

Sales team is rewarded for bad deals, promise customers things we cannot deliver on. Department lost major account then rewarded with reorganization designed on there model of Favoritism and cheap labor. Employees denied raises even after tripling work load. If your not on sales team expect to be overworked and underpaid.

    Advice to Management

Organization needs a complete gutting of middle and upper management
