I worked at FusionStorm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

FusionStorm was an excellent employer during my 2 year tenure with them. My decision to leave the company was entirely personal and hopefully only temporary. The people at FusionStorm are what made my experience so successful. I enjoyed working with everyone, from the highly competent engineering staff to the thorough and accommodating HR department. The company does an exceptional job of empowering the individual and building a cohesive team culture. Self starters really excel in this position and FusionStorm provides all the necessary tools and resources to be successful. The majority of employees are engineers or hold technical positions providing ample resources for sales people to win clients. It is easy to differentiate FusionStorm from their competitors based on their world class Integration Center, global logistics and most of all the talent of their employees. I would highly recommend working for this company.

    Cons

Base salaries could be more competitive but easily made up in commission opportunities.

    I worked at FusionStorm part-time

    Pros

I got the chance to work directly with the Marketing Manager and the VP in NYC office. The team is quite inspiring and willing to teach you new skills. You feel you are a valuable team player even you are the only intern in the office and you get real projects to work on.

    Cons

    It's only a part-time internship which cannot lead to a full-time job.

I worked at FusionStorm (More than 5 years)

    Pros

I've seen a lot of great folks who worked for FS in the past.

    Cons

Most of these good folks gone for a reason. The management culture is questionable not to say more. It is pretty common for the mid-level management to blame the engineers for the failures that were "pre-programmed" during pre-sales cycle by setting unrealistic expectations with the customer. I saw at least two occations when good folks were fired for no fault of their own just to cover the screw-up of the management or sales. Kind of to show to the customer that "management team is fixing the problem".

    Advice to Management

    Start listening to your employees.

I have been working at FusionStorm full-time

    Pros

Everyday presents an opportunity to push myself harder than I've ever pushed before.

I'm very lucky to work with a team of men and women who embody values of integrity, work ethic, accountability and honesty.

There's no shortage of talent or inspiration in the New York office and you couldn't find someone rooting against your success even if you tried.

There are a couple exceptionally well rounded & successful individuals who for lack of a better term, are superb role models, this perhaps is what I'm most grateful for.

I developed strong working relationships that have since turned into even better friendships, I'm equally thankful for the friendships made while working at Fusionstorm.

    Cons

I have to write something here or glass-door wont submit my review, there are no longer any cons of working at fusionstorm.
If you love technology, want to build your own business, enjoy working in a volatile and competitive market place and have super-thick skin you'll love it.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.
