    Pros

Love working there. The people are great. Great pay. Staff is great. Just an overall great place to work

    Cons

Micro managing. Some favoritism. Other than that really flexible.

    Pros

Positive team environment. Managers and other reps are supportive of one another. They provide product training. Celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries. Great culture.

    Cons

At the time of my employment, product was really not that good, exceptional or interesting. Competitor products offered more functionality on every front. Tough sell, lots of competition. Constantly had to deal with gatekeepers.

    Advice to Management

Change the business model. Constantly hounding gatekeepers is not the only way to get to the decision maker, invest more in lead generation, stop the cold calling, talk to people who are actually interested in dental marketing software.

I have been working at Futuredontics full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible Scheduling if you do your job, great perks, casual office environment, regular joe-schmo managers, they're in charge but they dont make you feel beneath them. Daily & sporadic progress reports so no reason to suck at the job, you can watch your end or your rise

    Cons

Not really any Cons. Its Cold, LoL. Employees are complainers though. Just stay out the drama & you are good.

    Advice to Management

Hire those who strive for more than a paycheck.

    Pros

There None to speak of! ( Rating should be no Stars but at least one star is required.

    Cons

Could possibly be the worse job I've ever had! Supervisors demean you as part of their management style. There is no true basis as to grade your performance. It's if they like you or not. All managers should be trained on how to manage or be demoted.

    Advice to Management

Start fresh with all new managers & have a clear to realistic way of obtaining goals.

Very secretive company, unorganized management. High turnaround.

    Pros

Good team work. Groups assist one another. My experience was with the sales organization. The marketing and finance team members were very cooperative.

    Cons

The 1-800-DENTIST organization has faced ownership changes. The culture under the founders is not necessarily the same as with the new, private equity owners

    Advice to Management

As best as possible, consider applying the strong corporate culture that existed when the company was owned by the founders. It was one of the most supportive cultures that I've observed.

    Pros

Longevity of employee's is important to the management. They value their teams and make a great resolve to build a great environment.

    Cons

Inside sales to dentists takes patience, be ready to work on building relationships with staff at the dental offices you will be calling on.

I worked at Futuredontics (More than a year)

    Pros

No Pros. Unless you consider corporate greed a pro.

    Cons

Corporate America at its worst. Thank God the new $15 an hour law passed in California. Now they'll either have to pay employees a living wage or go out of business. I hope they go out of business. This company is awful.

    Advice to Management

Treat people with respect, not like robots. Maybe if you cared about the people that work for you, you would have a better company!

    Pros

They give you a bonus for 6 weeks while training. They seem like a community about prospering.

    Cons

The training is horrible, so don't plan on making many sales. They churn through people, throwing things against the wall seeing what sticks.

    Advice to Management

Properly teach your employees your products, really invest in them, everyone would win then.
