I have been working at G-CON Manufacturing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Climate controlled buildings. If you're related to management, your immediately treated better, and paid more than people with experience.

    Cons

Mandatory 12 hour days 7 days a week, the only break is our measly 30 minute lunch regardless of how many hours you work. If you take off on a Saturday or Sunday it goes against you on your review. False promises in interviews, from claiming family is important, one year performance reviews, to saying there's no buddy system. If your not family your scum, and treated as such. If you show up everyday, work hard, do everything you can to be the best, you'll get a 3% raise at the end of the year....everyone does. If you're skilled at what you do and enjoy it, don't come here they will take that from you. Guys run jobs and make 18 dollars an hour while managements sisters' nephew comes in from high school and starts at 25....management needs to be managed.

I have been working at G-CON Manufacturing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Work is mostly climate controlled. Everyone gets along with eachother, for the most part.

    Cons

If you're not related to the management dont expect fair treatment or proper pay. Management is so focused trying to see the shop hands being lazy, they forget to reflect on themselves. The only people ever held accountable is the people on the floor putting in the most work. They claim they will give you a raise after a year, but then say you'll have to wait until the end of the year. End of year comes around and its a measly 3% across the board. If you take pride in what you do, and truly enjoy your trade/job, don't come here...they will steal that happiness from you to pad their own pockets. Guys running jobs making 18-25...meanwhile the managements family comes in with absolutely no experience making mid 20's. Not what you know....but who you know....if you're management and reading this...you know of the issue, and still won't stand up for what you know your people deserve, and if you're surprised by this review, maybe you're the problem. Also only 1 30 minute break for lunch, no other breaks, even when we're working mandatory 12 hour days 7 days a week.
