    Cons

Management preaches communication but has none. Once hired you are forgotten and no more hjan a number. No reviews, no raises wildly higj employee turnover

Hire a company to show you how to deal witj and treat employres. Stop realying on The Buddy System

    Pros

Voted one of the best places to work in central New York. Great hourly pay rates. Growing business. Very open to make the company as efficient as possible with multiple meetings a month asking input from workers. Company looks to take care of its employees.

    Cons

No set end of shift for the night shift, work until all products are shipped. Night shift can be the forgotten part of the company at times. long grueling hours in a cold environment. May miss company events due to work. high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Keep the company great, continue to take input from employees in order to improve the functioning of the workplace. You can never be too efficient

I have been working at G&C Foods full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    -It's a growing company
-The president David Lapage is a fantastic person who goes out of his way to meet n greet his employees. Very respectable person
-G&C has a respectable culture. They try to improve the overall attitude.

    Cons

-Management preaches communication, but lacks it..( go figure)
-Career wise...depend on your experience and education you MIGHT have a chance. If you lack the later..Chances are slim to none.
-Like stated in the above; Management is relatively young and leans towards favoritism.
-If your into labor and being cold for 10-18 hrs a day (depending on what shift) this is for you.
    -it's a J.O.B. (Just Over Broke)

    Advice to Management

-Listen to your employees. .they actually have good suggestions and solutions.
-Learn how to be team players
    -Don't be bias / favoritism
    -Utilize time better
    -ACTUALLY SHUFFLE UP MANAGEMENT

    Pros

Great pay, good solid hard work, lots of different things to do

    Cons

The employees are awful to work with, the management is awful to work with, the organization is horrendous, the overall idea there is to be a hipocrite.

    Advice to Management

Don't complain about people doing their jobs when you don't know how to do yours.
