    Pros

Company cares about their employees, provides competitive pay, and really cares about their clients. Also provides great health and benefits package.

    Cons

Not much room to grow and not much professional development. May seem slightly distant for Admin I & II staff.

    Advice to Management

Initiate various development programs and try to retain great talent that will later help you grow.

I have been working at GAP Solutions, Inc. (GAPSI) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy work, Not a very strict company

    Cons

The pay is horrible, they do Health & Wellness which takes from your hourly amount.
I took the job thinking i was getting paid 22 hrly.

Turns out almost 4 goes to my healthcare that you have to take unless you have your own, and NO that 4 dollars does not go in your pocket if you refuse healthcare.

this job is for a retired person maybe. yet again simple job but bad pay for the work.

    Advice to Management

    be more upfront about pay.
Also offer incentives, we work with military but cant do half the needed task to streamline the job process.

I have been working at GAP Solutions, Inc. (GAPSI) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I never feel overworked as we are able to work at our own pace and listen to music on headphones while we work. We can take lunch per our phone schedules, and there's a gym in the next building over. My work is just challenging enough and we change roles every 6 mos, which really helps with workplace boredom.

    Cons

We only acquire 3.33 hours of PTO per paycheck, we don't get our 2 weeks worth of PTO all at once like other companies for which I have worked. Also, we get paid on the 7th and 22nd of each month, which is a huge hassle when there's over 2 weeks between pay checks.

    Advice to Management

Change pay periods to every other Friday like most other companies and change PTO policies so we don't have to save it up until the end of the year.

    Pros

    High-ish salary
Will take anyone with a secret clearance
    Diverse community

    Cons

Can be hard to understand the setup of the company and their partners
    Not a lot of communication
    Changing policies

    Advice to Management

Be more transparent with your employees and let us have a say in how things are handled. Onboarding process is a mess. Also throw us a "get together" party sometime, nobody knows who is who, and it would help us better connect as a company.

I worked at GAP Solutions, Inc. (GAPSI) full-time

    Pros

Get you into the government much quicker than USAJobs, not a terrible salary.

    Cons

Terrible benefits and management of employees. They try to make you feel like they care, but it comes up empty. Part of being an hourly worker I suppose.

    Advice to Management

Stop nickel and diming your staff, maybe they'll stay longer.

I have been working at GAP Solutions, Inc. (GAPSI) full-time

    Pros

    -Pay for parking
-Flexible hours, but that is almost entirely thanks to gov COR, not GAPSI

    Cons

-Terrible benefits, GAPSI barely (if at all) contributes to health insurance, so the premiums are astronomical
-Multiple REQUIRED "benefits" that result in a big sum being taken out of my paycheck each month, with no option to unenroll (ex. life insurance, disability)
-pay the legal minimum based on contract, no option for raises
-GAPSI managers do not treat employees well, often conflicting information is given with zero notice for policy changes
-NO sick leave, and very minimal PTO...you also must use PTO for reasons out of your control (ex. snow days when gov is closed)
-GAPSI uses third-party websites for every possible HR function, this has resulted in all employees having to input their personal information (SSN, address, DOB...) into countless websites. This is a high security risk.

    Advice to Management

See "Cons". Two stars was a generous review. GAPSI needs to start treating their employees better, beginning with ANY improvement in benefits.

I worked at GAP Solutions, Inc. (GAPSI) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

GAPSI offers flexible hours, competitive pay and benefits, and good work life balance. The company is willing to invest in employee development and offers excellent opportunities for professional growth.

One of the things that really impressed me during my time with GAPSI was the supportive culture. Management did an excellent job of letting employees know that their hard work was appreciated. Employees were often recognized for a job well done.Senior staff really seemed to care that employees were happy and motivated.

The people that I had an opportunity to work with were experienced, hard-working and great team members.

    Cons

As with many government contracting firms, some on-site positions are largely dependent upon the status of a single contract. If a re-compete is unsuccessful, there may not be immediate opportunities available for affected employees. Re-competes for government contracts are often unpredictable.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work, and continue to hire and develop talented people.
