I have been working at GC Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Steady hours and scheduling. Good managers and staff.

    Cons

Not enough parking at the Lee Trevino GC Services facility. Other than problems on site with protocol the base pay is a bit low for the type of work compared to other CS representative facilities in the area.

    Advice to Management

Not to have so many new hire classes and to worry more about already hired employees. To have a higher annual raise than a few cents for a years work. Also a high base pay for new unit managers.

I worked at GC Services full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Pay
    Great work hours
    Flexibility with schedule

    Cons

    Training could be improved
    Poor equipment

    Advice to Management

My advice to management would be to be more engaged during training and offer more hands on training on the floor to improve understanding and show greater demonstration of job duties. Also, at my location there were often times when there were not enough headsets available and several headsets were in poor condition.

Basically if you get sick and throw up on the job don't expect to get a break get back to work

    Pros

Pay is great if you’re in the student loan division. Bonuses are awesome. I averaged 52k a year there. Got to make my own schedule. As long as you do your job properly and exceed your goals they don’t bug you.

    Cons

Ever changing policies. Can’t advance cause managers usually make less than top ARs. It’s a revolving door with new faces every month

    Advice to Management

Maybe take real time to train employees where it’s not a revolving door and people take value in what they’re doing

    Pros

The job was full time and it was a steady income.

    Cons

I felt the on the job training was good, but some things were not completely clear.

    Advice to Management

Even though group training is good in that the other workers can help each other, I feel that there needs to be more one on one training.
