      Disorganization & Chaos

      Pros

Low cost of living, fun/cool product portfolio, great coworkers.

      Cons

Constant chaos with dev process. Forecasting/resourcing is a challenge, as you never have clear visibility of what you will be working on more than a few months in advance. Some functions are very well resourced while others are left flailing, outsourcing and under-delivering. To this day it is a massive mystery how headcounts are created. HR operates like the mafia. Leadership doesn't seem to have a clear understanding of the full team they manage - nor seems to take an interest in day to day. Marketing seems to only care about brand, despite managing many other functions. Leadership refuses to invest in employees or infrastructure (embarrassingly bad - some of the buildings are falling apart). I feel sorry for you if you need to travel. Policy is super cheap. Benefits are not competitive (insurance pays for basically nothing, raises are sometimes less than inflation, no profit sharing) and there's no career development programs. Many of the employees who stick around are stuck in Lville for one reason or another and are burned out.

Good Work, if the Hours Fit You!

      Pros

Good hours The pay is great for a first job What's expected of you is steady -- no matter how high demand goes, the line still moves at the same speed. Many opportunities for overtime.

      Cons

The distribution of labor isn't amazing - some people get jobs you could do asleep, some people get jobs where you have to go close to 100% the whole shift just to keep up. Too many Saturdays! Depending on the building you're in, you might wind up working every other Saturday. Communication isn't great -- I didn't have a number to communicate directly with my supervisor, and the Park Wellness Center is only open during normal daytime hours, so if you're sleeping in that time, you might have trouble with medical and work-related concerns.
