    Pros

Great training program for someone fresh out of college and looking for a way to explore paths at the company, gain experience with a variety of teams and managers, and have the potential for career advancement.

    Cons

Limited choice as to which roles you will receive. Many found the associated course work to be of little added value, though not all.

I have been working at GE Capital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Leaving at the end of the day.
It's a job to start your career, but not to grow it.

    Cons

    Love of buzzwords.
    Well below market value pay.
    Shrinking portfolios and company.
    Political even at hourly levels.

    Advice to Management

Please stop lying; I understand this issue is systemic in GE. This can be seen by how many investor lawsuits are coming down on the company for the SEC violations, but lead by example not by what you were taught.

    Pros

For the most part, a meritocracy based company. There still are some people left that have the old GE values.

    Cons

Used to be better; after they started divestitures everything went downhill. Would not recommend.

    Advice to Management

Be aware of your audience losing their jobs at employee all hands meetings!
