    Pros

The department within the company has great benefits, managers, director and coworkers. Celebrated our victories as a team.

    Cons

Promotional advancement within the department is difficult because once someone has a good job, they tend not to leave

I have been working at GEICO full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great culture, good opportunities to move up and around within company, semi-flexible workday (must be in from 9-3) but can do the rest of your 8.5 earlier or later.

    Cons

Standard 2 week PTO, low cost provider so don't expect any fancy things that aren't deemed necessary

    Advice to Management

Continue to adapt and be open-minded about future changes to the company.

I worked at GEICO full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

One of the reasons why I applied was that families worked together for years. You are considered "new" if you are under 10 years on the job.

    Cons

It is definitely a "good old boy's club". I left because repeated harassment was not addressed and my work environment remained hostile.

I worked at GEICO full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Decent pay, good benefits, stable employer

    Cons

I quit because of the stress. I worked there for many years. The attitude of all managers there is sit down, shut up, and do your job. The pressure is so intense that you literally have to tell someone if you're stepping away to get a cup of coffee or going to the bathroom. They don't like you to take time off if you have a personal emergency such as a sick child. The workload is beyond unreasonable--it is absolutely abusive. Don't bother complaining about any of it--they don't want to hear it and they make that clear.

    Advice to Management

Start treating people like human beings
