Decent pay, long training program
Cons
This is the worst job I have ever had. Metrics were impossible to meet, you are expected to be a robot all day long with never ending calls . Hardly any work life balance .I would never want to work at a company like this ever again.

Awesome place to work!
Jan 28, 2020 - Licensed Sales Agent in Woodbury, NYRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Working for Geico has really been amazing. The management want to see you succeed so they are always pushing you to do your best. However they make it a fun environment and are always giving recognition. Certain jobs are not always for everyone. If you are having a thought about changing your position management works with you pushing you to get where you need to be. They are usually very flexible if you need to switch your shifts and accommodate you.
Cons
Work life balance can be hard but they are always looking for ways to help you with balancing it.

Do not recommend

Profit Sharing is a plus. Nothing like a little extra cash at the end of the year.
Cons
Everything else not called profit sharing. The culture is non existent. When comparing to other companies there is almost no work life balance nor any real perks that are related to money. No company outings. Even just the simple things like that help with morale and rapport in the office. And this was way before COVID-19.

You can work here and have a normal balance of work and life; generally no weekend work
Cons
too many administrative like duties passed to attorneys; understaffed; they demand lots of work from attorneys, but the pay doesn't align with the amount of work demanded; claims is hard to work with; not transparent; goals and metric system used to administer raises/promotions is almost impossible to reach
