I worked at GN ReSound full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Health benefits good. Best working conditions are management and up.

    Cons

Ridiculous management. Will waste time reprimanding employees who do a great job for petty, insignificant things and creates a very hostile work environment in doing so. Supervisors known to be verbally abusive and it goe on. Do not take a job there if you have a life, family or want to have thee people run your life!!! Terrible insensitivities to a crisis that may arise in your personal life.
They only want a body to do the job, no regard to ergonomics or injury on the job. stay away!
they announce mandatory overtime at the last hour the day before. little or no appreciation.

    Advice to Management

TRAIN your management to treat people right. Look up the definition of Respect for employees.

I worked at GN ReSound full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good people in the local office, pretty fun environment, conveniently located, fair compensation, nice facility, benefits are fair, equipment is fairly new.

    Cons

The corporate headquarters is in Denmark, whenever changes are implemented, I feel like they "throws things against the wall" and see what sticks. Denmark doesn't really listen to any other markets. Sometimes local decisions are made that really impact the employees on an individual basis, but they don't really seem to care. Can be rather clique-y. Pretty hard to keep re-hashing marketing campaigns for the same product over and over again. They seem to have the same problems, over and over again, but hey, they're consistent. Not really good at recognizing efforts made by employees who go above and beyond their normal duties.

    Advice to Management

Communication would be nice. The more things change around there, the more they stay the same. Listening to your employees once in a while would be nice.
