    Pros

At GNC you learn to sell. From the beginning of your employment you are taught selling techniques. If you see GNC as a place to master your craft, you will benefit greatly from this, but you have to put in the extra effort.

As a place to work it is also great. I've always told my coworkers when my son becomes old enough to work I want his first job to be at GNC because the interpersonal skills you can develop here will be essential for any career.

    Cons

There is a lot of pressure to meet your daily Key Performance Indicators(KPIs), but that is expected from a sales job.

    Advice to Management

Keep promoting managers are that passionate in their careers at GNC.

I worked at GNC full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible Schedule, Freedom to operate the location the way I needed in order to hit the KPI objectives. Had the proper tools and resources available to get things done and provide excellent customer service.

    Cons

No direct contact through email with RSD. Things seem to come down from the top but nothing was expected to ever go back up. So, you did what you felt was best and dealt with the outcome later. I produced results so I was not ridiculed to much and the RSD was professional on critiquing the decisions I did make outside what the company expected.

    Advice to Management

Communication is Key, even with part time employees.
