    Pros

Management is completely incompetent, from supervision to almost to the top of the food chain. They tell you we are team, farthest from the truth, blatantly lie to your face just to get what THEY want. Could careless about you as a person.... Slave labor/sweat shop work is what this place is/was. If you never went home, they would love you and still want more out of you. Skeleton crew at all times so many asked to do multiple jobs with no extra compensation. Raises, That is a joke.......

    Cons

Health benefits....only because they want you to come to work....

    Advice to Management

    why bother, won't listen

    Pros

The employees tend to be a close knit group. It can be an OK place to work if you don't take things personally, just need a paycheck and can leave your brain at home. It's not for the long term. Turnover is very high.

    Cons

There is no career ladder, no promotions, no regular reviews, no raises other than what can be negotiated privately. Creativity and innovation are strongly discouraged. The work can best be described as busy work. The focus is on getting through the day and the projects are designed that way. Everyone's daily duties are very micro-managed. Harassment by management is prevalent. Employees are frequently fired on a whim without cause. The company is very management heavy and rife with graft and corruption. There is no safety program. The facility is under constant threat of shutdown.

    Advice to Management

The facility should probably be closed since it serves no purpose.

    Pros

Seton is a worldwide company with a strong leadership in its market. Upper management is very open with employees and everyone can suggest better ways to do their work.

    Cons

As everybody knows, automotive industry is one of the most affected industries as a result of current economic situation and that as result the carrer growth has been very limited. For example training is almost non-existent.

    Advice to Management

Keep their current effort to avoid more job cuts. We are very proud of our company and we'd like to see a reinforcement of its operations as soon as automotive industry pick up. We all trust in our management and their knowledge to survive in this situation.

    Pros

The company does have its good points, the benefits were good, most of the people were nice to work with. During the move from Maryland, everyone was over worked and under appreciated for their efforts. There was no where near enough knowledge transfer at that time. Hopefully things have improved.
Dennis Hiller is a great guy to work for and with. He is very fair and very smart with his business decisions.

    Cons

There is a lot of OT worked. Nights and weekends are expected regularly. This was true when I was there. Things may have improved in the last few years, this info may be out of date at this time.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees - they have valuable information to give you.

I worked at GST AutoLeather full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The workers make this company. Collaboration is good. Respecting others and their opinions is good as well. Ideas are listened to among departments. decent medical benefits.

    Cons

HR manager is very unfriendly. very dreadful is more like it. Upper management does not take time out to spend time with departments and to learn about concerns. Very disconnected. no bonuses. small raises. only two weeks PTO. not much room for advancement.

    Advice to Management

Upper management: Break down the wall and "hang out" with your employees. Get to know them. You can then find their value.

    Great guys doing the work...

    Cons

UpperManagement/Management is HORRIBLE!! Never hear the workers ideas...Poor pay for what others pay...Only 3% raise over 7 years there!! Nobody enjoys their job there at all...

    Advice to Management

Hear the people that do the work!!! You get what you pay for...Pay increases and yearly raises...

    Pros

So many really great people working here. The CEO was very caring and wanted to ensure his employees were taking care of.

    Cons

Owned by private investment company that may spin it off and sell it. Feels insecure because they always need to watch the bottom line.

    Advice to Management

    Get a new HR Leader.
