    Pros

    - Great office culture (coworkers)
    - Coworkers truly care for one another
    - Travel opportunities if in certain positions (Sales, Sourcing)

    Cons

    - Unstable future with impending merger with Hotelbeds and Tourico
    - Low pay
    - Pay raises based on overall company performance (i.e if it’s a down year, you’re not getting a raise)
    - Favoritism is very evident

    I worked at GTA full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Location is close to the train station (Penn)

    Cons

    Apathy at all levels. Constant layoffs. Managers and coworkers don't care to help with anything or even engage with you at a basic level. "Not my job" culture. Dinosaurs who have been there for years running things into the ground.

    Advice to Management

    Clean house and start fresh

    Has good products and services around the world. Good opportunities within the Sales.

    Company has been bought over too many times and operations outsourced.

    Friendly Environment, Friendly people. Flexible with hours

    Poor business ethics. Poor morale. Set unrealistic procedures and inconsistent

    GTA is a great place to start and work if you love the travel industry and want to explore.

    Cons

    The company is not always open information pertaining to the company.

    Pros

    Very flexible and understanding when it comes to scheduling, great opportunities, fun work environment with several events and luncheons throughout my time there

    Cons

    Throughout my time there, there were several outages which caused many problems when trying to do work, call people, pull up reservations, and more

    Very Diverse group of people to work with. Made some long term friends.

    Cons

    Not very open about changes that could affect employees.

    Create an environment where you build trust amongst management and the employees.

    I worked at GTA full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Staff is comprised of many well meaning, hardworking people who generally have the best intentions. Midtown location made commuting very accessible. Recognized name in the industry.

    Cons

    Salaries are very low while the pressure is extremely high. Management does very little to educate exployees in skills needed to succeed in and out of the company. Jobs are filled without being posted, candidates are handpicked in advance by managers based on personal friendships established. Managers do not treat employees equaly and often have "teacher's pets". Extremely slow to adapt to changes and developments within the industry. Prefered treatment given to employees with families.

    Advice to Management

    Stop treating employees as a source of revenue growth and focus on professional development. Give equal opportunities for advancement within the company. Do not expect employees to work well under so much pressure with such little pay.

    Pros

    Fun working atmosphere. Great supervisors that work with you, listen to you. Good benefits, decent pay.

    Cons

    The bi monthly pay checks need to go. Not much advancement unless you kiss you know what. Work can be very stressful. No chance to travel

    Advice to Management

    Have FAM trips and more advancement opportunities.
