Not Good Long Term

You make your own hours Pretty easy job
Cons
They make you log out all the time and when you have free time it's unlikely that they have anything to review

Pros
Flexible, Schedule your own hours Non-phone work
Cons
- Offseason hours are little to none. The way the notification system is set up is unrealistic. Work opens up for 5 mins then closes. This doesn't even give you time to get to your computer and log in. - Considering you're dealing with children's safety, the lack of leadership is concerning. You get shamed for asking questions- if you get any answer at all. They just refer you to the resources. If the resources answered questions, we wouldn't be asking in the first place. - They tell you you aren't meeting metrics, but don't tell you exactly how. There is no chance for improvement. - They rely too heavily on the fact that you're a contractor and expect you to know everything with very little guidance. - They cancel contracts and claim you're not meeting metrics, even if you were. - No emails are able to be replied to. Contact is impossible.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, however, it’s unfortunate to hear that your experience wasn’t more positive. Given the nature of what we do supporting students and schools around the clock, the work for these roles does fluctuate throughout the year, which can impact our staffing needs. I’m very sorry you felt your questions were not getting answered—we try our best to ensure our contractors have everything they need to be set up for success. With that being said, we are constantly trying to improve our training and communication protocols, so feedback like yours is invaluable. WishyWashy Expectations
Aug 1, 2022 - Content Reviewer in Dallas, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Work when you want (as long as hourly shifts are available). Work from anywhere
Cons
Rules for what is and is not appropriate content are subjective and very easy to get hung up on. At times one thing is considered inappropriate, at other times it is not. There is no clear explanation from management as to what you are doing incorrectly, only a generalized explanation (when asked for clarification they simply tell you to go back to the training information). This is particularly a problem when there is a high rate of reviewing expected and you get dinged for taking too long while waiting on a response from others on how to proceed with unclear content/intent.

Good company, Less than desirable hours to work
Jun 16, 2022 - Content ReviewerRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
At home, fairly easy, good pay when you are able to work, above average communication and support, very kind employees, easy test for hiring and no verbal interview.
Cons
Fair pay if you are able to work enough. However, you don't get enough consistent hours to work. You may sit there for 10 hours in the day and end up working three. They also review you monthly, and don't give feedback during that month for you to know what you need to improve upon. Thus, you can be quickly and instantly dropped at the end of the month without notice.

Thank you for your feedback—we’re glad to hear about your positive experience regarding pay, communication, and our employees. Due to the seasonality and nature of our client’s needs, we simply cannot guarantee contractor hours. We try to be very transparent about the possibility of fluctuating workloads throughout our entire hiring and on-boarding process—our sincere apologies if we missed the mark on this. If you would like to further discuss your feedback, please reach out to me at: paget@gaggle.net.

Pros
Easy to get hired ok
Cons
Not enough hours available to meet quota. Hours would get snatched in seconds.

Pros
-Set your own schedule -Flexible -Work from home -You have access to a great community to help answer any questions you might have. -They do pay, and it's a legit work from home opportunity.
Cons
-Low pay ($10 hour) -You generally can't work for a long chunk of time. You can only work when the queue is open and it can open and shut very often. Sometimes it's closed longer than it's open, and you have to pay attention that you're not working after it's closed --even if work is still coming in-- because that's not allowed. -Really just something to make extra pocket change if you're already spending time online anyway.

Flexibility was very nice. Working when I wanted.
Cons
Pay is very low, training is terrible, no personalized feedback, constantly hiring although shifts are already hard to get and queue isn't opened much. Turnover is high.

Pros
- Work from home - Helping kids
Cons
- Low pay - Majority of the time, you can only work for 5 - 10 minutes, and it's random. They claim you can get up to 60 hours, but in reality it can be a tough struggle to even get to the 10 they require per week. If you are not glued to your computer at all hours of the day, you miss the very brief and limited sign ups for one hour intervals. Very, very misleading. - They demand you maintain 275 reviews per hour, but give you NO WAY to track this, and refuse to discuss it for all workers to see in the workspace site. Shady doings.

I appreciate your efforts to help kids, but it is unfortunate to hear that you are not satisfied with certain aspects of your role. Given the nature of what we do and the fluctuation in the content received, the workload changes significantly from hour to hour, day to day, and week to week. I have passed along your comments to the appropriate team, and you are welcome to reach out to me at paget@gaggle.net if you would like to discuss these issues further.
