Nonexistent DEI (eliminated #tech-diversity and #women-in-tech channels) Extreme school surveillance (all emails, shared files) with plans to add browser-based keylogging No internal ethics board, everything runs through founder CEO No position on "don't say gay" bills and reporting to school districts No position on abortion restrictions and reporting to school districts Company employs a vast number of 1099 contractors, probably in violation of new California laws Company does not post salary information in job descriptions, probably in violation of Colorado laws Company internally attempts to prevent any sharing of salary information Company salaries are well below industry standards CEO is dismissive of Covid health concerns

We had to temporarily shut down our Women in Technology Slack channel at the request of some employees both inside and outside of the channel. The channel had some negativity taking place. It wasn’t intentional, just growing pains. We are creating some rules and guidelines and have since restarted the channels. Sometimes new products are pushed out before they're perfected, but it's with the best of intentions Occasional mixed messages from leadership (again, never with ill intention, and any miscommunication is always cleared up quickly)

This company is all about the employees. Very encouraging and positive environment. Negative reviews that I have seen mostly come from contractors who do not work for the company.
Cons
Can be very stressful. Work is weekends, holidays, all hours for many positions.

Gaggle is a great company and I'm so glad I work here. I believe in what we do, as does everyone here. We all feel like we're doing something worthwhile and we work together to continue to improve our product and ourselves. I love my team and I really feel like I belong here. We're 100% remote, with great benefits and great pay.
Cons
I can't think of anything I would change. Anytime I've approached my manager with a potential issue, we've solved it quickly and nothing is outstanding.

I've been with Gaggle for about two years now and love it. From my experience this is what I've noticed: Great Benefits Incredible Company Culture Co-workers are fun and supportive. Management is understanding and fair. Most importantly, our mission is worthwhile.
Cons
I really don't have much to add here. Any issues I've ever had were handled with grace and fairness. The only issue I could see someone having is that we are completely remote, but they really do make sure that there are enough events to keep everyone engaged.
