Pros
The flexibility is perfect for someone who needs to work around a busy schedule. During the school year it is very easy to maintain minimum hours. Great support and working environment. Perfect for someone who is self motivated.
Cons
Work is not as steady in the summer when school is out. Definitely a side income for the summer months. But during the school year easy to accommodate a somewhat regular schedule if you choose.

Work anytime queue is open
Cons
Fire you anytime for any reason
- Former Contractor, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Workload unpredictable, but was good while it lasted. Worked remotely for 4 years and was consistent with good feedback during that time.
Cons
New people hired often ate up hours and those that had been there longer were on same level of treatment as those just signing on. Ended up having my contact terminated without notice and no explanation why. I just lost access to my schedule and log in was not usable one day when I went to sign on. After working as part of the team for so many years, building those relationships and being a part of something I believed in, it was difficult to just be cut off like that with no explanation after always receiving positive feedback for my work. I was trained above my level and used to cover shifts frequently, signed up to work overnight shifts and holidays, and always tried to go above and beyond to have my coworker's back, as it felt like they had mine. It was also difficult to keep seeing new jobs posted continually, so it wasn't a reason of cutting back on workers.

Pros
Work from Home , and have own space.
Cons
Considering your using your own equipment ( computers) the pay is not that great. This is a contractual arrangement that can be terminated at any time.

Thank you for the feedback, it sounds like you’re enjoying having your own space and getting to work from home. Appreciate the insight about the hourly pay. Our content review team must meet strict standards because we must be careful when it comes to the safety of kids. If these standards aren’t met, we must unfortunately not renew contracts to ensure the safety and well-being of the students we serve. If you would like to further discuss your feedback, please reach out to me at: paget@gaggle.net.

Pros
Very flexible and being able to get set hours is great. Pay is good and I love being able to try and help children who really need it and keep them safe. Only been here a couple months and still learning. But I'm hoping to contract with them for the long haul.
Cons
Wish feedback was more individualized. Wish the contract wasn't a month-to-month

Ok for some extra cash, not an actual job

-Work from home -Log in on your own schedule -It's legit-- they do pay -Forum and support is great. Someone will always be there to answer your question almost instantly. -Friendly (online) environment. -Feel like you're helping keep kids safe
Cons
-They pay by the hours, but you must log out when the status is "closed". The status often closes after 5-10 minutes, and you find yourself waiting to see when it will open up again. -Status often stays closed for about a half hour, it's something to have in the background while you're already on the computer. -You spend more than an hour waiting and watching for the status to open, so you make that $10/hr bit by bit, over the course of days.

Pros
You get to pick your own hours.
Cons
Management does not communicate well. You have to constantly sign in and out of your work site. You might get tasks for five minutes and then have to sign out.

I appreciate you sharing your feedback with us. It can be a challenge to balance schedule flexibility and consistent content that needs to be reviewed to protect students—I’m sure you can understand that we don’t want to waste anyone’s time by having them be in the queues with no work, which is why the sign-out occurs. We are working to minimize this in a variety of ways. We also do our best to keep employees engaged—in 2021, we ranked in the top 24% of all Gallup Companies in their Employer Engagement Survey. Please feel free to reach out to me at paget@gaggle.net if you would like to discuss this further and let us know how we could have made this a 5/5 experience.

Pros
Work from home on your own time.
Cons
Pretty much everything else. My experience was the same as another review posted from October 2019. I studied the material given in an attempt to get their guidelines down perfectly and worked there for a little over a month before a first email saying I did not meet their standards. That's okay, I wanted to get better and know what I was doing wrong, but upon messaging them I never received any response as to what I needed to do better. Just a few hours after that, I got a generated email saying my contract was not renewed, even though they say contract renewal takes place at the end of the month. It seemed like a great waste of time. They say you need 10 hours minimum a week, and sometimes it felt like you had to really fight for that minimum, when 10 hours a week is just barely more hours than ONE shift of an entry level job. The job was fun to do so it's a great shame that the company isn't more helpful towards those they're contracting. You don't ever actually get to meet anyone in the company once contracted. You simply join their Slack and work when work is available, so I can't personally say anything about anyone at Gaggle.
