I worked at Galmont Consulting as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Easy to get to decision makers and executives in charge. They take care of their own people very well.

    Cons

Follow up, depending on available roles, by those placing consultants and/or contractors could be a bit better.

    Advice to Management

Former contractors/ employees who left on good terms shouldn't have to chase you down for new opportunities.

I have been working at Galmont Consulting full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Growing company but you still feel part of the "family"
    Good team atmosphere.
Employees get great support from management.
Acquired by SQS in 2015 resulting in increased resources and growth
No worries about layoffs when "on the bench" - can take advantage of excellent training opportunities.

Previous reviewer (Jun 13 2013) states no salary review/increase. This was from a contractor working for Galmont. I don't know the policy toward contracted employees, but as a regular employee I have been receiving merit increases in my salary.

    Cons

One of the current locations has many employees in large room, can get noisy and distracting (but move to better location is in the works and expected by end of 2016)

    Advice to Management

Continue your current course of caring about your employees. I have never felt better supported by my employer in any of my past jobs. Also continue keeping employees apprised of upcoming changes. One does not like when last minute changes occur that could have been announced and prepared for.

I have been working at Galmont Consulting as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Jeri and Victor are awesome. They're good people and will probably get you a job if you want to work.

    Cons

Once placed, you're stuck where you are unless special circumstances take you to another client or your contract is not renewed. You also won't get a rate increase, regardless of how well you do or how long you are at your current client (for me, 3 years and counting...)
