I worked at Galway Bay Hotel full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great staff, lots of fun working together. If you're great at what you do, there's an opportunity for career growth.

    Cons

Pay isn't great even if you're in supervisors position. Lots of responsibilities. A lot is expected from staff. Good place for part time position!

I worked at Galway Bay Hotel part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Friendly staff Busy hotel Good environment Activities for staff fun

    Cons

People who works as accommodation assistant are paid only 4.00 euros per room cleaned and can do maximum 14 room per day and have to do loads of extra jobs for free. Working under pressure for rooms. Others staffs (Porters, Kitchen, Waiter/Waitress) are paid per hour. No opportunity to grow in your career. Staff food in the kitchen is rubbish, impossible to eat. I got sick a few times. Other Hotels pay per hour.

I worked at Galway Bay Hotel part-time for less than a year

    Pros

It's a good place to work in that the staff are very nice and easy to get on with. Managers are good at giving direction and advice. The work itself is very manageable and the clientele of the hotel are also very friendly.

    Cons

Some members of staff have poor English which can cause communication issues. Also, the usual stress of working in the service industry.
