I have been working at Gameday Media full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There is the opportunity to make a lot of money here if you put in the time - They pay you for the work that you do. Sales is a numbers game, so stay on the phone and follow-up with people.

    Cons

It is a grind - but it is worth the pay.

I worked at Gameday Media full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great pay, quick raises, simple product to pitch, offices all over the country if you ever want to transfer. The reviews on here are far from different than the day to day job of the employees who stay more than a few days/ weeks. No sales job, no cold calling job is a simple sale. The market of this sales job is not actively reaching out for the service so no, its not always going to be easy. But it is a great product for the companies and schools that Gameday partners with. Most of the reviews i read prior to starting seemed awful and I was surprised to see how many people start blinded by the pay and bonus package. The local management and trainers will do everything you ask to help you. But just like any job, you have to ask for help. If you sit quiet and frustrated you wont get anywhere. It is a lot of calling. 300-400 a day, no CRM to track calls and no leads are handed to you. This job is not for someone who is not a self starter, a hard worker or who knows nothing about sales or business. Could you do it as a first sales job? Yes. Will it be as easy as an insurance call center? NO.

    Cons

limited training, recruiters focus on pay and not the job.
