        - mostly good people to work with and teams that are mostly effective a great place to get started - some of the company's IP is really cool and unique to the mobile space - good office cultue, fairly relaxed but still productive - beer fridays

            Pros

You are bound to find some very talented and friendly coworkers. The environment is very relaxed and the hours are fairly flexible. The studio has cool facilities better than the average in Barcelona. The human resources does a good job in organising events seasonally. I think it's a good a place to start your career.

            Cons

Unfortunately, in terms of management and communication, there are some serious deficiencies. Managers are still at junior level and the company doesn't provide any training for them. There is a lot of secrecy or lack of communication. Communication channels are very narrow and you need to be inside certain circles to learn what is going on. I was promised many interesting projects in my interview and most of them turned out to be non-existent and the core of my job was unrelated to any of them. Creativity is very low as the policy of HQ is to copy successful external models as much as possible. There is no viable culture to encourage collaboration and team-work.

                  Cons

No one will help you... you have to figure out a lot of things alone... No team work at all... You have to fetch information from other teams and you will be dealing with open source products developed by the company and not well documented...

Always remember these when interviewing (based on my experience): - You will not be working with the recruiter you talk to - Large companies = chances are good of you not working directly with the mgr/sup who interviews you. - Small companies = chances are you will work closely with the mgr/sup who interviews you. But, chances are good the team you work with is not on this call - In both situations - ask to meet you direct team, if you can, to get a feel for how things are
