I worked at Gametime United full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is a great company to work for. They treat you really well and want it to be known that you're a part of a family and not just a number, which is nice. The pay isn't bad and they provide equipment for work-at-home employees

    Cons

The company policies are totally out of wack and it's hard to get behind them. Especially when you have customers calling in and screaming at you for stuff you would call in and scream about yourself?

This is a re-sell ticket company, meaning the tickets come from other people who didn't want them or bought them specifically to sell them. The seller has "up to 48 hours" prior to the event to send them to the person that purchased them. AKA you can pay $1000 dollars for a ticket to a concert and get them 1 minute before the show starts. Sometimes the tickets just don't show up and you're told to throw the person $10 dollars in credit to shut them up.

Many of the people who work in the department that handles tickets are rude and short with you about things you have absolutely no control over, which also makes doing your job even harder

    Advice to Management

Change your policies and make them make sense so that the work flow is easier for everyone involved.

I worked at Gametime United full-time

    Pros

Gametime is an amazing company to work for. I grew as an engineer and as a person at Gametime. The top-notch tech stack along with capable and motivated engineers allow one to learn a lot and become a better engineer.

IMO, Gametime is Ticketmaster for millenials with many promising data-driven features that allow one to find the best yet lowest priced tickets!

I am glad I worked at Gametime overall and recommend everyone to join their journey!

    Cons

    Pingpong/foosball tables always help :)

I have been working at Gametime United full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Having worked in sports and entertainment previously, I can safely say that Gametime is ahead of the game (pun intended) when it comes to making sure their employees are taken care of. Very fair pay, 100% company paid benefits, 2 weeks vacation, stock options, and other added perks as well. This company knows they need to keep progressing ahead of their competitors and work tirelessly to do so. The management team and supervisors do a great job of assisting their subordinates when it is needed. Overall, the company works as a team with team goals as opposed to individual ones. The company is very transparent in its operations and goals with all employees so you always have a sense of whats going on.

The product itself really is a game changer in the ticket industry and is truly unrivaled when it comes to the purchasing experience. This is just a testament to the dedication the team at Gametime has in regards to continuing to grow and expand into the market.

If you enjoy fast-paced work, a new experience every day and are sports/customer service minded, this is the place for you.

    Cons

The biggest con is more of a catch 22. You do work with a lot of remote colleagues and in office colleagues who may choose to work from home which can make communication difficult at times. However, this is also a pro because you can almost go anywhere in the world and still be able to complete your work.

    No company matching for 401k

    Advice to Management

Continue doing what you are doing. This is hands down one of the best companies I've ever had the pleasure to be a part of! Continue to listen and take feedback from employees to help provide users with the best experience!

I worked at Gametime United full-time

    Pros

The people were fun and the product was interesting enough to work on. CEO is a nice guy and was willing to listen to employees. Most people were driven and on board with making the product better.

    Cons

As others have eluded to you are expected to work more than what is stipulated in your contract, "startup culture". Bad hires mired product progress. Cutty things happen.
