I have been working at Gannon University full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The health insurance is top notch. Most co-workers are absolutely amazing and the students are far above those at other universities I've worked for in the past. Loads of holiday time off at Easter and Christmas. 100% undergraduate tuition reimbursement for employees and dependents.

    Cons

No recognition for a job well done, pay raises for staff (non-faculty) are not merit based. Everyone on campus gets the same thing - you'll get the same raise as a person who never comes in and on the rare occasion they show up does no work. Completely motivating. Months long annual review process for 26 cents, some years there wasn't a raise at all. Starting pay is well below industry standards and most staff on campus don't make a living wage.
