I have been working at Gap full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Gap full time has great benefits and the pay is better than most retail stores. Also, allows you to be your true self.

    Cons

Working at Gap in the merchandising field can be very tiring. The hours can be very early and the work load is sometimes too much to handle. Gap credit card sales can be very frustrating as well. Upper management very needy and selfish.

    Advice to Management

More hands on coaching to help take associates to the next level. Would also be great if associates were rewarded more for doing well in the work place. . District/regional/upper level managers needs to be more aware of the work it takes
