    I worked at Gap full-time

    Pros

Amazing benefits: medical, retirement, vacation. They all start day one of employment, no waiting period.

    Cons

Can sometimes take too long to resolve employee concerns.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your people and treat them like gold. They will work harder for you than you know.

    Advice to Management

I understand the importance of opening cards, but not everyone is skilled in that realm. Keep up the fun, community feel and flexibility, and you'll have happy employees.

I have been working at Gap part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's an extremely easy job, I'm on my fourth day and I've sold 7 to 8 cards. My team is great and the hours are not bad; However, the store I'm in isn't big at all so it can be a bit slow sometimes. Not to mention this is my first job EVER.

    Cons

None, but its only been four days.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the work I guess.

I worked at Gap part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Gap, Inc is a nice company to work for, with good people in general.

    Cons

The salaries, always a "secret", because of the fact that they give different /better ones to less qualified new people. It's a disappointment finding that out after many years of faithful service, that teenagers are making more than I am as assistant store manager. That's when I left. It's a shame because really I enjoyed my years there. Just a heads up, salaries are not fair.

    Advice to Management

    As above.
