I worked at Gap (More than a year)

    Pros

Nice coworkers, helpful training, eager to help me thrive

    Cons

It was very difficult for me to schedule shifts. They only gave me sometimes 4 hours a week when I was promised 20

    Advice to Management

Don't hire so many seasonal workers if you won't give them hours

I have been working at Gap part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They are a very accepting company, they pay a minimum of $10/hour which is great. Also they work around your schedules extremely well. It is also extremely easy to get your shift covered especially with the new shift messenger app.

    Cons

Some of the managers can be a little rude at times, and there was a time that for 4 weeks in a row they called and cancelled my shifts the morning of, due to the store being slow and a lack of money for payroll.

    Advice to Management

Some managers need to control their attitude and realize the amount of work they are putting on someone, and that if your going to have 1 person close an entire store in 1 hour, it's not going to be perfect.
