    Pros

    -Some great people -Fairly laid back -Great discount -Good place to learn basic retail management and get experience

    Cons

    -The company pushes GapCards insanely hard -Hours were always very tight which meant often having to do window changes, and floor sets during open hours with only one other person to be on the floor and ring customers -A lot of the employees have been there 10+ years, which can be good at times, but often they're stagnant and think they can do whatever they want because of seniority. I worked with another manager (at my same "management level") who had been there a long time but had no desire to move up in the company. I was trying to move up, but she would often push me out of meetings with higher ups and our store manager was too scared to say anything because of how long this woman had been there.

    Pros

    Flexible, great discounts, meet new people There's nothing too hard to do in my opinion. I work with a few 16 year olds so it's nothing to it.

    Cons

    They rely on the employees to get a certain amount of Gap cards (credit cards) and based on how many you get (or don't get, for that matter) your hours are on the line.

    Pros

    Great discount, flexible hours & schedules, can't beat the benefits and paid time off. There are always resources available if you want to learn something new or explore a different career path.

    Cons

    Hourly pay could be better for field leaders. The $10 minimum wage should attract better talent as far as sales associates, but unfortunately it doesn't and the leaders in store don't make much more than that.

    Pros

    Great discount and flexible hours. You also get to work a lot with people.

    Cons

    Having a GapCard quota to fill made is difficult to do my job properly and without constant pressure to get GapCards.
