I have been working at GardaWorld full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very good name, among clients, so there are steady jobs.

    Cons

Make sure you have a written rate agreements or they will pay you less. Claiming its site rate.

    Advice to Management

Yes you provide the opportunity but you do not work with the clients directly. treat us with dignity and respect even if we do not share the same office complex. As we are your face. Please have little coordination and communication among yourselves.

I have been working at GardaWorld (Less than a year)

    Pros

The pay is great. The OT is also easy to get.

With so many coworkers you are bound to meet some really nice ones. The ones in my training group were all great and helped each other out after we were "certified"

    Cons

Management is terrible. They are constantly power tripping.

Quality leads are more interested in seeing people mess up then helping them out. They will write you up for any tiny mistake after watching over your shoulder for 30 minutes making you nervous. Whenever we saw lots of QL's around we knew that a new group had just finished training. Thats how much they annoy people on the floor.

The performance managers are incompetent as well. They will talk to you after you have been written up so that you may "defend" yourself. However they already have preprinted the report that says you are wrong so no you really cant defend yourself.

Hours also aren't great until you are a senior staff member. It's based on seniority so if you're new be prepared for a random 4am or 8:00 pm start shift with only a Tuesday Wednesday off.

    Advice to Management

Stop playing favorites. Enough with your superiority complex.

I worked at GardaWorld part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Advice to Management
