    I worked at GardaWorld part-time

    Pros

    Get paid twice a month

    Cons

No training. You may get 15 mins. Instruction and from there you are pretty much on your own. Short handed due to turnover which doesn't allow time for training even if there was a program. Everyone does everything differently and all assume you've been shown how to do the various jobs without asking and when you do the job incorrectly they make you feel like you are stupid.
Hours are long and you are expected to get your speed in line before you even learn the job.

    Advice to Management

Get a training program in place. Supervisors need to interact with employees and make sure employee knows how to do the job correctly. Jobs need to be repeated until learned. Given no chance to succeed without training.

I have been working at GardaWorld full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Sit in a truck and look up new jobs on your phone and get paid for it.

    Cons

The trucks are horrible, in the verge of breaking down. You never know when you will get off for the day, on average work 12 hours a day but could be more depending on the route. Almost 0 time for your personal life working 5-6 days a week and not having a set time to clock out. Overtime doesn't start until after 50 hours.

    Advice to Management

A simple radio in the truck would work wonders on morale.

I have been working at GardaWorld full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Livable wage, paid vacation, guaranteed at least 40 hours a week if full time

    Cons

Company does not care about employess at all. Cheapeast company I have worked for. No OT until 50 hours in a week. That means no OT after 8 and double after 12, and they take total advantage of that. Slave labor of the 21st century. Mandatory 6 days for about a year now because we are understaffed and most new hires quit for something better

    Advice to Management

Learn to treat your employees like human beings
