    Pros

Phosphorous is globally limited, and will run out in the next 100 years. Aquaponics will save humanity by meeting plant phosphate demand while incorporating an extra element of productivity through fisheries.

    Cons

Start-up company. Internship currently is on an hourly wage rather than salary. I need a salary because I have student loans and need reliability of income, as well as a higher income.

    Advice to Management

Continue with controlled and steady growth. Hire your Water Quality Intern as a full-time employee after graduation in May. There is huge potential for growth and success, especially if you build a strong team.

I worked at Garden Fresh Farms full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work in an upcoming field with new technology. A lot of responsibility and ability to create new knowledge. Advance sustainable food consumption.

    Cons

Employee health hazards often disregarded. Insufficient pay with 'potential' for increases in revenue that will likely not be realized.

    Advice to Management

Employees invest effort and time based on motivation and incentives. If you provide disincentives rather than motivation, anticipate that quality employees will go elsewhere to feel valued.

  3. "Excellent in theory, practice has yet to catch up."

I worked at Garden Fresh Farms full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Small, welcoming company, good business model and eco-friendly ideals.

    Cons

Work is repetitive and dull, and it isn't always easy to implement changes or new ideas

    Advice to Management

Respect everyone's ideas, make employment decisions clear from the outset, present a united front to employees.
