    Pros

Good pay....thats about it.You do get so much overtime you begin to think you live there and a christmas party with dry corny jokes.

    Cons

A circus...Never know if you have a job or not.
A job of more, more, more with less people and supplies.Lots of overtime,no family life.
    Hard on your health.Very stressful.
    You are a number.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

When things in the oil business are going good it is reflected here as well as far as available work and overtime

    Cons

When things in the oil business are bad it is reflected here as well as far as available work and overtime

    Advice to Management

Don't add so much fluff of employees when you don't need it so you don't have to lay-off people when things get tight. Also don't tell employees things are good, then in a month later have a big lay-off

    Pros

    Normal pros, pay, insurance, 401k

    Cons

Pure train wreck, group leaders and supervisors have no leadership, efficiency is not a priority, be liked or be looking for another job.

    Advice to Management

Throw the Code of Ethics handbook out along with the employee handbook. Incredibly hostile environment.

I worked at Gardner Denver full-time

    Pros

It was great to work for in many respects. My coworkers were pleasant and easy to work with. They tried really hard to satisfy the customers.

    Cons

Management rules with ivory tower mentality. You can't relate any bad news of what is happening in the field without fear of reprisal. The monthly meetings are a joke as they sit around and pat each other on the back. Senior field guys basically just ignore the product managers and do their own thing.

    Advice to Management

The world is changing and not having a coherent eCommerce or social media strategy is going to effect ongoing product sales.

    Pros

Decent pay and benifits. Excellent opportunity to become an Amazing company again. Great product. Short commute. Varied product line. Quality at the first of the month.

    Cons

Decent pay. Decent benifits. Great product. Decent facilities. Close to home, so short commute. Has potential to become an amazing company.

    Advice to Management

"Good ol boy club" if you aren't part of the beer drinking club. ...don't expect any real progression up the company ladder. Ignorant and lazy group leaders. Sweeping under the rug mentality of bad parts issues, lack of parts issuses, sexual harassment, and ignorance. Safety and quality are only important to management in the first week of the month. After that. ....it's only about numbers and shipping out units.
