    I worked at Garfield's Restaurant & Pub part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Happy, upbeat people, friendly servers, easy laid back environment. They have wonderful management and wonderful staff. They are very attentive to customers.

    Cons

Sometimes it just gets super super slow and you have to find something to do or sit and stare and it can be frustrating...other times it's so busy you're begging for a break.

    Cons

    Managment. Splitting group of 10+

    Advice to Management

Don't fire people because you have to work the line and are pissed. Listen to people instead of making them just say OKAY when you yell at them.

I have been working at Garfield's Restaurant & Pub full-time

    Pros

Challenging work environment, fast paced business, great team of cooks, deliberately planned menus with food variety and creativity. Lots of experience on staff.

    Cons

Little to no positive reinforcement, all constructive criticism weighs heavily on criticism and drives people to the brink of quitting. No value placed on the 599 plus things done correctly throughout day, only on the one thing noticed that wasn't done.

    Advice to Management

Develop your team through visionary positive reinforcement to inspire comraderie and ownership of responsibilities of job, and drive to excel.

I have been working at Garfield's Restaurant & Pub full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Friendly good people to work with. People work together to get it sold.

    Cons

Was hired as fulltime, yet can't get past 50-55 hours for a two week pay period. There have been occasions where I've been cut after 2 1/2 -3 hours. Legally can demand pay for at least 4 hours but would probably be fired for it. Also some coworkers are terrible at communicating when you call out for a drop.

    Advice to Management

If you hire someone fulltime work them full time. Be honest and upfront, if you can't work me fulltime (32+ hours a week) Don't hire me. I have bills to pay and I look for jobs that I'll be able to pay them. If I want part time I'd look for a part time job. Address communication issues when kids bring them to you, it's what you get paid for. I don't care if you don't like confronting employees who aren't performing up to par. This is part of your job if you can't do it then get out of management.
