    Pros

    You get paid on time

    Cons

Insufficient processes No SOPs Inexperienced Mangement Refuses to accept things are broken and something needs to be done Uses happy hour, pizza and other treats to pacify you instead of making changes Side Note: I find it absolutely deplorable that this company would tell their employees to go on this site and place positive comments to combate the negative. Instead of listening or even accepting what people...

I worked at Garretson Resolution Group full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Regular business hours, decent pay for area, great CBD location, friendly coworkers., dual monitor workstations, well supplied break-room, business casual attire, reasonable and generous paid time off policy.

    Cons

No clear protocol or expectations, firings seem happen on whim, although site leadership has great promise, corporate leadership doesn't support, no clear defined rolls or responsibilities, lots of guesswork, low employee moral, no real feeling of job stability.

    Advice to Management

Id offer advice, but they wouldnt listen, hence, the low employee moral.

I worked at Garretson Resolution Group full-time

    Pros

A balloon on your birthday/anniversary, benefits are standard, co-workers are welcoming and friendly.

    Cons

Usually doing the work of more than one person, management doesn't acknowledge when passing in the hall or in an elevator, raises and 401 contributions are minimal. You know that excitement you get when starting a new job--you won't find that here. You will be thrown in to the ocean with a sink or swim attitude. Training--what's that? Career development--that is as foreign as a unicorn. Communication does not...

    Advice to Management

They should start by wiping out over half of the senior management and allow the workers to have some say in how the process should play out. They would be amazed at the talent hidden under their roof. But it is too late, the mass exodus has started and they will be too busy chasing the next big "incident" to realize the potential they lost.

    Cons

High turnover rate. They don't expect you to stay, in fact you are called "crazy" everyday you show up for work.

I worked at Garretson Resolution Group full-time

    Pros

Opportunity to gain experience at a number of useful job functions if employee shows ambition. Work is unique and interesting to learn. Project management experience is applicable to myriad professions.

    Cons

Management does not deliver on what they say they are going to do. Few employees carry a huge amount of the workload and responsibilities, others leave at 5. There is an overall lack of organization of workflow. Lots of veteran employees have left because of lack of proper experienced leadership. Management is likely to take credit for successes and place blame on staff. Internal system difficulties. Management does not...

    Advice to Management

Bring in experienced directors. Create more balanced workflows. At least try to inspire staff and develop personal relationships with staff. Do not blame staff for project difficulties.

    Pros

Get paid on time, lots of parking, free coffee and tea

    Cons

Poor, Disrespectful, Salary under market value in most departments. Employees do not matter only clients do. No culture whatsoever. Paid review boards huge $$$ to remove bad reviews from online.

    Advice to Management

free advice? are you kidding me? Management should seek advice from current employees, not from former employees.

    Pros

Location was great...That's all I can really say.

    Cons

People aren't to friendly, everyone seems to have something to hide. lack of stability is pervasive. There's always a wave of layoffs, once i got a sense of the culture I found another job and gave 2 weeks, my replacement was released in less than a year. If you just need a bridge job this is your place, get in and get out. Not diversity friendly.

    Advice to Management

You can't advise a group who doesn't care. It's about saving your own cupcakes with this company.

    Pros

Great co-workers, Reimbursed for Parking, Conveniently located

    Cons

Management Team has ZERO people skills. Upper management is sexist and discriminatory.

    Advice to Management

Quit! Let someone who respects employees and knows how to motivate their staff have the job. Don't lie to employees about impending layoffs.

    Pros

Great location, flexibility, benefits aren't bad

    Cons

Little to no training provided before you're thrown in to steer the boat of lien resolution in all aspects.

    Advice to Management

Provide 1-2 weeks of initial training with materials that allow employees to fully understand and grasp the full concept of the business and how the company works since it is an intertwined map of departments that work together and depend on each other in order to be successful.
