Management have no idea about their workers, and recent lay-offs show that they have cut their workforce down to the bare minimum and are piling more work on other that cannot handle it.

poor communication with employees, pay and bonus are base on work performance, but if management is able to party with you. you don't have to know what you are doing to get a promotion, just be able to hang out and party with management.

I have been working at Garretson Resolution Group

    Pros

Coworkers make the job enjoyable, if it wasn't for the great group of people i work with. I would've quit this job a long time ago. when they get a project it becomes crunch time and overtime is available, take advantage of it while it last though.

    Cons

MANAGEMENT is HORRIBLE!!!!!! supervisors are merely in place out of favoritism and who can kiss the most backside. you're trained in one task and before long they switch you to another department. Mainly a way to double dip on clients they're billing

    Advice to Management

Promote based on skill. Come to the New Orleans office on a surprise visit, you'll be astonished by the lack of organization.

I have been working at Garretson Resolution Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Innovative, Problem-Solving, Market Leaders, Management Team

    Cons

Growing pains based on growth, technology advancing, attorneys that believe they know how to run a business, core values are strong but need to protect them as the company grows and new leadership is put in place

    Advice to Management

Stay focused on a sustainable business, not just short term growth, invest in structure that will keep the company around another 20 years

I have been working at Garretson Resolution Group for more than 5 years

    Pros

Flexibility to make improvements. Nice people. Interesting work. They have nice employer paid meals for holidays. Ability to talk to execs any time you want.

    Cons

No documented employee disciplinary structure allows employees to overstep bounds. Favoritism to certain employees and departments. Review score was near perfect and department generated revenue above budget, but still only received an inflation raise with no real reason as to why.

    Advice to Management

Get structured. Somewhere. Anywhere. HR, employee handbook, systems, etc.

I have been working at Garretson Resolution Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It's a 8-5 M-F job, so no weekend hours are required.

    Cons

Management is poorly trained or completely un-qualified; No opportunity for advancement in NOLA office; People are fired for personal reasons, even in the middle of high productivity pushes or quotas needing to be met; False sense of job security from out of office higher-ups, which is obviously all lies; Completely underpaid, no merit raises or even performance reviews in over a year

    Advice to Management

    Get some

I have been working at Garretson Resolution Group full-time

    Pros

Paycheck is on time, fancy new building

    Cons

No communication from Senior leadership - housekeeping may know more about the company than the people doing the work, Immature Leadership, Inexperienced leadership, Feels like being in high school all over again, Had hopes of improvement with the new CEO but he has been there for over 6 months and not once addressed the staff. Not the place to work if you have 1 ounce of integrity - you will only move up if you are...
