I have been working at Gateway Science and Engineering (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    -Great management.
-I have been with this firm for 12 years. I love this firm and the project that I am on. They have always treated me fairly and respectfully.
-Through this company I have had the greatest career growth and opportunities of my life.
-When compared to my project colleagues (who work for other firms), I found that my firm offers better pay and benefits i.e. health, vacation, education, mileage & phone reimbursement, etc. than most firms offer in the same field.
    -Flexible work schedule.
    -Opportunities for growth.
    -Open door policy.
-Many of my colleagues who's project ended or left the company, have either returned to work for them or are still trying to get rehired by them.

    Cons

-Project end dates. The company has no control of our client project end dates. However, if our current project is completed and no extensions are being offered by the clients, the company will make every effort to find another project to transfer us to without an interruption in our schedule or pay.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Thank you for caring for your employees the way you do.

    Pros

Open door policy with direct feed from Management, makes working for this company a real pleasure. When any company puts the needs of the Job and the workers up front it becomes a company that the employee's dedicate themselves to. It was a Real pleasure to work for Gateway Science and Engineering.

    Cons

I would love to be a Full time Project Engineer for a company of this caliber. Management is always available if the needs arise.

    Pros

Amazing human resource manager and they try their best to keep the consulting employees working. They also offer great incentives

    Cons

There aren't really any cons. The only down fall is, if there is no work, they cannot keep you. Consulting jobs are based on the demand.
