    Very good business leadership - especially in European region
    Encourage innovation and and out of box thinking
    Large & challenging requirements from prospects & customers - new things to learn everyday
    Friendly work culture within teams
    High quality expectations - which keeps up continuous quality improvement in deliveries
    Onsite exposure for customer meetings & workshops
    Good growth in profile & compensation for employees that really add value to business
    End to end process exposure
    Full marks to Payroll - Salary 100% on time
    Flexible work timings

    With high quality expectations - high work pressure
    Deadlines are always tight
    Onsite team invest time and effort in review - at last moment
    Alternate Saturdays off for Delivery teams with remaining FULL working Saturdays
    All Saturdays half day working for BD team

    Advice to Management

    Make some of the onsite teams understand that, they need to respect time and priorities of offshore teams
    Better implementation of HR process which develops a people to people connect and understand the challenges of employees proactively (apart from HR Partner just as a "Role")

    Pros

    1. There is just a list of Cons except one thing 'salary on time'.

    Cons

    This company in presence from 20+ years now but cant grow enough because of below reasons.

    1. All the 4 and 5 star reviews wrote here are fake or asked employee to write forcefully. I have seen so by my naked eyes.

    2. Two years bond.

    3. Overnight company can splits into 2 or 3 parts and overnight it gets merged in one.. and management thinks that they have hired KG students by their own recruitment process.

    4. Frequent changes in top management hierarchy. you have to struggle to reach out concern person if any query/problem is there.

    5. Most of the managers will not let you prove your capability and ready to take credits for the work which they cant even dream of. Just forget here promotions and better future. Most of the managers are saving their own position.

    6. Interesting thing in company is their payroll person. who think that he is next Direct of company and paying salary from his own pocket. He is always ready to deduct salary of any individuals.

    7. if one project is going great.. appraisal will be given to the member of that team only.. and if there is project termination situation from client end, company starts firing employee from any project. this is hiring and firing factory. Lost more than 150 people in last 6-9 months.

    8. Appraisal is just like lollipop here. They will just show you on paper but not give you in your bank account. If client wont pay, employee has to wait until client pays all due.

    9. Source of income for company - They deduct salary, They earn from bond amount (2 year bond) paid by employee who are just frustrated, Company dont pay for pending leaves when you leave company, etc etc..

    10. HR department is well trained department and they know how to avoid ex-employee who are asking for they last settlement from company.

    11. no more good clients/projects. they are struggling to save existing projects.

    12. Worst canteen facility, car parking issue is there, only 2 Saturdays are off in a month, long working hours (8.5 +1 hour break=9.5 hours)

    Experienced people stays away and freshers can join this company as their LAST option.

    Advice to Management

    Dear NG, You might be a good businessman, i am too small to advise you. If a developer like me can analyse above things just in 4 years of tenure in your company, you have spent more than 20 years and you can analyse more ..

    only and only if you are fresher you should join as you would learn what not to do in your future career

    I worked at Gateway TechnoLabs full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    This is one of the best software company to kill your career. 310+ employees have been fired since last 18 months. still you want to continue/join this company ?? People (who were working since 15 years with this company) even fired then what is stability of any employee ??? Just jump from this sinking ship before your career becomes ZERO(0).

    Cons

    Only policies are good to read on paper & presentation of world class drama of top management to grab new projects

    Advice to Management

    Why don't you start 'drama classes' ?? All top management people are really good dramatist to trap new customers.

    Pros

    I dont see any pros here, Except its location.

    Cons

    1. Poor infrastructure.
    2. Abusive managers, They will abuse you even in a group meeting and you will feel like a idiot.
    3. Poor policies. I don't see anything in favour of employee.
    4. Always late night stay. They will give u a packet of chips worth Rs of 5/10 to eat.
    5. No job security, You may be asked to leave at any time.
    6. HR thinks like they are king of the world while they are searching job for themselves.
    7. All positive feedback are fake don't trust them.

    Advice to Management

    Just shut the company.

    Pros

    Get challenging work to do.
    Good for you if you are only listener and implementer.
    Top management and top senior level persons are good to work with.

    Cons

    Mid-level Management is opt to accepts challenges in their thought process.
    Mid senior level team don't want to upgrade their skills.
    Mid senior level team are no useful at all.
    Mid senior level team takes responsibility for good work and blames/targets juniors/freshers for failures. In some case fires them as well.

    Advice to Management

    Please review mid senior level team methodology and their attitude. Prepare them to accept the challenges.

    Pros

    1) Good company for freshers to get learning experience, considering if your Project Manager is knowledgeable and not People Manager only.
    2) Celebrate all festivals
    3) Good Infrastructure
    4) Get salary on-time

    Cons

    1) It's 21st century and still they work 6 days a week. Isn't it shocking?
    2) Very Stringent HR Policies.
    3) Fixed 1 hour for Break, you can do whatever you want in 1 hour including Lunch, Snacks, Tea. If you take more break then your salary will be deducted.
    4) Top Management treats employees as resources and not as Human. Suck maximum work that you can from resource, that's their mentality.
    5) No Work-Life Balance
    6) Few Manner-less People in Top Management feels as if they are CEO/MD of the company and always shout on people and being rude always. Show some respect at-least for your team, because of whom you are getting your salary on-time.
    7) If you are good at "Chaaplusi" or "Buttering" then you can climb up to top management also by doing nothing, and only shouting at people.
    8) Senior Management people never hesitate to put other people down, instead they feel proud of what they do.
    9) Favouritism / Partiality runs in their blood
    10) Appraisal? What is that? Management will be shocked if you ask for 15 or 20% hike. Their common reasons for not giving proper appraisals, which you can hear are same every year are: Company has not done growth this year, it's industry standard, your performance is good but company's overall performance also matters.
    11) They give good appraisals or promotion to non-deserving people only. But, deserving or star performers will be never appreciated or given good appraisals.
    12) Promotions are given based on the number of years you give to the company. Not on the basis of your talent/skills or performance. You can also become CEO/CTO if you serve more than 10 years, obviously using "Buttering" and not hard work.
    13) Dirty Politics everywhere.
    14) Some people can't even think of going out in market and looking for job. It's biggest sin for them. How can you even think of leaving this company?
    15) If they give you onsite opportunity, it means you will not get good appraisal this year. They compensate expense of onsite trip against your appraisal cost.
    16) Give more responsibilities to non-performing employee and save cost by not hiring new deserving candidate.
    17) Some people misuse HR policies by doing mis-punch or not doing in-out punch. Still, they get away with it if they have good relations with HR team.
    18) Management knows that who are non-performing employees in the company, still they are in company since more than a decade. Very Strange.
    19) Management knows everything that is going on in the company, but still they don't react to it.
    20) Biased towards Female Employees

    Advice to Management

    1) Learn to appreciate hardworking employees of your company
    2) Your employees also have family like you, so stop harassing them by asking to stay till late or be available anytime.
    3) Learn to respect each and every employee. Everyone has self-respect, if you are CEO or Director, that doesn't mean you get power to abuse anyone or make fun of anyone.
