      Different IT problems come in each day, helping you learn how to solve different problems.

      Knowing how to deal with negative customers is a must, some customers will not understand why there stuff just doesn't work.

      Driven environment, goal oriented and fun. There's a family atmosphere and team structure that is a pleasure to work in.

      It can be stressful, but any job can be. There are deadlines to meet so time management is an important skill to have when considering Geek Squad.

      Keep doing what you're doing. People feel accepting and the environment that exists there currently is a healthy one that drives people to be the best they can.

      Pros

      Different issues everyday, both Windows,Mac and iOS troubleshooting. Flexible scheduling, will work around employee needs Opportunity to learn in many different troubleshooting techniques, from outlook issue all the way to installing hardware components

      Inconsistent work, can be slow at times and extremely busy. Expectations are sometimes vague and can differ between clients causing confusion between agents and clients

      Scheduling has always been an issue since i started. A look into scheduling can greatly help motivate employees and provide a consistent positive interaction with clients

      Pros

      One of the first people to find out about a problem and find a solution. You are the go to person. Other Agents go to you to get an answer.

      Cons

      Pay is terrible. No Respect. Micro-Management. Ask you to do things that is not part of your job.

      Advice to Management

      Management tend to ask you to help them with front lane traffic or to sell which is not part of Advance Repair Agent duties.

      Pros

      Fun work, potential to work with great people with similar interests, good discount.

      Cons

      Outlook and attitude vary by location, some stores are wonderful and others have management issues that make for an unhealthy work environment. Little regulation. Many more, but just to name a few.

      Advice to Management

      Listen to lower level employees more than management. A supervisor/manager cannot perform the level of work that their team can, and their input is more than valuable. Hire competent talent, covering for those with no technical knowledge and fixing bad situations due to a misinformed client is bad for brand image.

      Challenging work, no time to be bored and time goes by fast

      Cons

      Requires Tremendous patience, Almost all clients are idiots and often if they don't get their way a manager will make it happen for them and then you are the bad guy. Pay is not fair considering what you have to put up with. Opportunities for full time are quite poor.

      need better pay and equipment that does not break down and better tools to get the job done
