I have been working at Geek Squad part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working with people who are like-minded
Learning about basics with technology that's brought in
Decent job for starting in a field for anything tech related

    Cons

Pay isn't adjacent to the amount of responsibility an agent has. You are also working on shipping units out, receiving units, marking things for Open Box and replacing/repairing units with protection plans.
More work than most departments in the store for same pay.
At the moment, Apple products are generally a hassle, due to miscommunication between Apple and Geek Squad in terms of handling repairs.
Clients can be very frustrating, far too often you'll feel like secondary customer support, rather than working a tech job
If you have an A+ certification, I wouldn't recommend this job in particular.

    Advice to Management

None, typically goes unheard either way.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Good on resume for starting experience.

    Cons

    Management is horrible.
You do basically nothing besides put in a Auto DVD that runs scripts and allows remote access from the Geek Squad centers.

    Advice to Management

    Don't be so micro managing
