I worked at Geller & Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent Pay. Don't know if still has the monthly transportation reimbursement.

    Cons

It eats you up. Overwork. And sometimes, it feels as if it doesn't have to be that way.
If you brownose, you are fired. Martin Geller has no idea what is going on. He is not to blame.

    Advice to Management

Grow some balls. You fired me to hire a guy who would bring in a pot dealer who walked in with a briefcase. Why? So, my soon to be divorced manager and him could have a good time together. I was one of your best workers. I wasn't let go because of performance and you all know it. And, I liked it enough there. I landed on my feet - no overwork since - so perhaps you did me a great favor.

I have been working at Geller & Company full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Geller has a very unique culture where career paths are not prescribed for success. Instead, opportunities are earned with contributions made. My experience has been and continues to be an environment supportive of my work-life balance and desire to add value. Over my career, I acquired knowledge and skills that I didn't expect to and am grateful from a personal development perspective that I did. I agree with other reviewers that the benefits and workplace surroundings are outstanding.

    Cons

Given the absence of a more traditional corporate training program for recent graduates, entry level hires may find the environment challenging to navigate.

    Advice to Management

Continue to engage folks with actions such as the holiday messages by the CEO which I find insightful. Also, continue to focus efforts on learning and development.

    I worked at Geller & Company full-time

    Pros

Nice employees. Good benefits package, free snacks, nice office space, convenient to transportation, periodic b'day celebrations and lunches, etc.

    Cons

Management is always running around like chickens without heads. As a result, there is a lot of fearfulness among the staff. Also preferential treatment is off the hook.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to one-up each other sucking up to the owner.

    Pros

The snack bar was great...until they started renovating over half a year ago. Now there is not even a common space to eat.

    Cons

Everyone is overworked here and instead of hiring additional employees to spread out the work, meetings are held to discuss prioritization of work instead. This just results in less time to complete all the work. No work/life balance here. Serious inefficiencies across all depts. I shouldve read glassdoor before applying here. 2.5 stars, and all the good reviews are from interns. Please read through all the reviews and do not make a major life mistake like i did. There were times when i worked here where i was envious of the street meat vendors downstairs.

    Advice to Management

Lol everyone i started with had moved on already. There is no growth here, that is why management has no idea what the employees ever have to go through.
