    - Growth is slow but promising
    - Can be difficult to step away for time-off

I worked at GenEra Strategies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent team. Creative environment. The founder is extremely bright and wants very much for the company to be successful. The work is intense and can be very satisfying when clients are pleased.

    Cons

It's a start-up and they do not do direct deposit of paychecks. When deadlines are tight, work-life balance can be thrown off significantly; however that is true with most marketing agencies.

    Advice to Management

Work on trusting your team to do the right thing and build their confidence accordingly.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at GenEra Strategies as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Nice, friendly people. Everyone works hard and they are always onto something. CEO is a nice person, although he can look intimidating

    Cons

The office was too open and no privacy, small staff but not much interaction even during lunch break (everyone seemed to eat when they please)

    Advice to Management

    A team bonding exercise?

I have been working at GenEra Strategies full-time

    Pros

Great staff and good location. The CEO lets the staff experiment with new ideas, which keeps the work fresh and interesting. No micromanaging. Relaxed.

    Cons

New business proposals are a constant, which is good, but be prepared to contribute. Also, there is no real "speciality" areas, so sometimes you have to wear a lot of hats. For instance, you might jump from doing project management work, to social, then some SEM all in a day.
