I worked at General Maritime (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good people at the staff level. You will work in the interesting world of global tanker operations.

    Cons

Senior management is completely indifferent to its staff. They are very highly paid, unlike their employees. Very poor communications at all levels.

    Advice to Management

Consider your employees as assets and not faceless blobs at computer terminals. Appreciate the work they do for you for a change.
